There's a couple mainframe 10 point bucks that look to be a year younger. This is the only semi-mature 8 I am seeing. Would yall take him out to let the does get bred by the 10's or keep him around to see what he does in the next year or 2. He does love protein...
I'd really like the 10's to procreate, but the thought (dream) of a 140"+ 8 point in a couple years has me thinking about what the smartest move would be....

I think he is 4.5 and about 115''. I would let that deer walk until atleast next year. he will be bigger if you get rain again.
I wouldn't worry too much about shooting a young/middle aged deer for genetic reasons on a large low fence place in Terrell Co. Just let them grow and shoot the big old ones.
