sure is nice! I killed a deer with a body like that and after aging him was about 4.5. kinda wished I would have let him go but then again on 30 acres I don't have that privilege. so 4.5 is my guess.

This deer is 80llbs shy of most mature (5.5+) deer on our place

velvet is the hardest time to judge but I think 4.5

Normally most people are younger during velvet.

They show their true age/signs when their body fills out

At least 4.5....maybe more. They seem younger in summer months from what I have noticed

                Definitely an up and comer.

I agree with 3. He just doesn't have enough of the indicators to say 4 in my mind. Not quite the right body type to be older than 3. If you look at the bucks in the background it looks like you've got a 5+ year old to the left of the feeder and a 4 year old to the right of the feeder.

Scar on the inside of his front leg should be a good way to track this deer from year to year. I want to see this buck in a few years. He is going places.

I can see him as 4.5 as well. Just not as big as some others maybe

1 8 from last year that is probably him but hard to tell. No 10s from last year that look similar to the deer in antler or body size.
