What do we do? He's 5. Hard to let him walk...but I want to.

If you took him, it would be very early in the season...correct??

I just don't think I could do it one your type of set up...I would want at least one more year of baby making & pray for the best.

No real wrong answers though...go with what your heart/gut eat at you the most.

If you need someone to tell you to shoot him... shoot him.

I'd have to lay'em down! Never no what's in store for you or the deer next year. Just a thought

                    Thats just fantastic!

He would have to be mounted on a pedestal where he could be rotated 360'

Wow. Don't look at him from the back or your temptations may take over.

You can't afford to take every girl home from the bar, but it adds something to the experience to have a really good looking one that's a regular at the bar you go to.

With that logic just shoot all the fat girls. [emoji1]

The photo of the early 80s dropper is impressive. It is crazy how those genetics are still around 35 years later. If ever there was a case for a DMP this buck would be a prime candidate. I would have a hard time shooting this deer at this age just because I would enjoy the many upcoming years seeing him in all his splendor walking out of the brush on a cool crisp morning as opposed to having him on my wall. Enjoy the ride, bucks like him are few and far between.

                              Have fun deciding that one

Given the past pictures from the operation you run I have confidence in your decision

No reason to kill him now, you would never know what he might grow in a year or three.
