Age thoughts on this Coryell County buck?

6.5 you have to remember these are summer pictures. He will fill out in the neck and gut he is definitely old

That brisket is pretty developed but they can sure play tricks on you this time of the year. I'm leaning toward 4.5....and maybe 5.5 but no way he is older IMO. He is healthy but his gut ain't sagging like the older boy's normally do this time of year.

I'd call him 3.5 all day long. Neck is still way too thin, brisket hasn't "dropped" and back is still almost perfectly flat with no sag....

That deer was 3.5 two or three years ago. Short front legs and deep chest are a dead give away.
