    Mystery Implement

Anybody know who makes this and what it's official name was?

That would be a cultipacker, but no idea who made it

A closer look says it's a seeder/cultipacker with some missing parts.

Well, that's a piece of it. It's got a planter built into it also.

      Curious more than anything.

Looks like an old Brillion seeder.

You guys think it would be pull able with a big fourwheeler? I wish it was a little narrower. Worst case I'll hang onto it until I have a tractor.

Yeah I think you could pull it with a 4 wheeler. That's a pretty nice implement and would be perfect for putting out small seeds for food plotting.

This with a cultipacker. Most times these are used for stuff with really tiny seeds like alfalfa, turnips and clovers

In reading your other thread, one thing that could work for you is: mowing, spreading oats and rye, light disking, then following with this seeder planting clover with it, which will also pack the oats and rye. The clover will take off in the early spring and be a good protein source.

Have you guys seen one just like this before? I've googled everything imaginable and cannot come up with an implement that looks just like this.

That one is pretty close. Yours may not be a Brillion. If you take it or photos by an old implement dealer they may be able to help.

Cultipacker is what I have always called them. Pulled behind a tractor leveling the land after sprigging coastal. Ours didn't have a seed box on it.
