Not much happening at the feeders right now but I'm getting itchy for trailcam season to start. One of my spots ran out of corn about a week ago but even before that it was slow on pictures for any of the known mature bucks in that area. This was the best buck on camera there.

My other spot has been doing decent on bucks coming in. A few bucks on this feeder area still haven't showed up yet. This guy is coming along nicely.

Maybe next card pull more bucks will participate.

Jeremy, what do yalls doe numbers look like year to year? I know obviously the pics we see are going to be bucks but even yalls videos I have always noticed a large amount of bucks around the feeder. I was just curious if that y'all kill a large number of does year to

I concur, looking good. It's getting hot and starting to burn in some areas so they will prob start hitting feed a little more soon.

Year or if it was just me only noticing the Bucks.

At one of my spots it's not uncommon to see 15+ doe in a single sitting. We typically kill around 40-50 doe a year and our ratio: on most of the ranch is 1 buck to 1.5 doe but some parts of the ranch can be closer to 1:2
We do have a biologist and they do one and in some cases two helicopter surveys a year.
