We have a place between Sanderson and Dryden but haven't had any luck hunting out there in a long time. Only mule deer on the property and with the strict 1 buck only short season, I think the last time I got anything was 5 years ago. Dad went down there last week and cleaned the place up and took some pictures, he's about to put it on the market with a realtor down there.

We did get all the feeders filled and the deer are hammering the protein hard right now.
Have got a lot of rain out there and everything is unusually lush and green. Brother and I each broadcast a bag of Ebon rye seed in about a 15,000 sq. ft. area with decent soil, so with the projected rains this weekend we are hoping that takes off as well. Mainly an experiment, but we shall see what happens.
The mineral sites have also been hit hard. The feed pens look like some serious traffic is taking place, so excited to see what the season holds in store.
Love that country and the possibilities. Cool part about hunting out there, is that you never know what will step out.
