My guess would be mass production and keeping cost the same vs focusing on ingredients. I do know that the top few listed keep the exact same recipe and fluctuate price to keep TDN where it’s at while some of the the lower quality feeds adjust recipes to vary with ingredient cost to keep prices set and profits high. (So I’ve been told)

pretty good thread guys. Im a antlermax guy just beacause thats what i can get . i can tell ya that nutrition is very important for the overall health of your deer herd but rain fall has more impact than any feed . on low fence ranches ofcourse.. I give em all they can eat though and just hope im doing my part

I’m sure you are doing fine. It’s supposed to be a supplement. Sadly for many it’s turned into more of a feedlot situation where landowners/hunters want them eating feed only. In some cases that’s all there is to eat.
