Was up there until the storms came through last night. Got a shot at a doe but missed her high, frustrated at myself for that one. Got this guy on camera and he has been added to my hit list.

Think this guy may be a cull! What does the GS think? He is bigger in body size than a 3 1/2 year old 8 we have.

Mww he'd make my list too! Stud of a deer.

BG I'd have to pass on him. I'm a sucker for a big mature 6. Hate the no brows, but he'll be awesome with a little bit of age. Our stud six is below. Been on camera for three years. At least 5.5. He'll die this year if given the chance.

Never have seen elk on any of our leases, but saw a ton around Clayton.

Second buck this year with a knot or tumor under his chin. Any guesses on what it is?

Weekend movement was good for young ones and does. Our group didn't see any mature bucks Saturday or Sunday. Did fill the freezer with a couple of does. My youngest came to pick me up with mama on the four wheeler.

Odd looking growth for sure. Haven't seen this before on any bucks on our place. Looks like an abscess of some kind.

Cute kid! Getting her started off right.

Hope this guy made it through muzzle loader season! Gonna be up Tuesday through the weekend to hunt. May have to put a mock scrape out to see if this one will show during the day.

Supposedly a good one has hit the dirt at our lease. Not sure how good, but will post pics when he is recovered.

11 point. Still not sure how big. My uncle shot this one and my dad shot at another funky racked buck. Both trailing does.
