Buck with No Tail

I was recently looking at trail cam pics and recently saw a new 2.5yr old buck that doesn't have a tail, see below:
Has anyone else seen this before?

Several years ago, on a lease south of Brownwood, we had a pair of button buck twins that had no tails. Was really hoping to keep the lease to see what they became (oh, and the hunting was fantastic).

We have one. Not sure if his tail is as short as your deer's but he's been really easy to identify every year. 7.5 this year...
