Bad timing on great 8

Went to Kansas last weekend and just couldn't get it done. It's the only weekend I haven't hunted my food plot and dang the luck. Probably had 50 daylight pics over a 4 day period of this giant 8 point dogging doe everywhere in the main plot. It has been that kind of a season for me!

I had an 8 similar to that step out in an old abandoned orchard in Kanas one yr. He was probably 60-70 yds out , which was well beyond my comfort zone at the time... After it got to dark to shoot but I could see due moon, he came into 10 yds and ate my hand corn . I set in that ground blind for an hour after he left before I snuck out... That deer haunts me
