He's a beautiful buck no doubt. But, I think with another year he can get bigger. I want to shoot him at his maximum potential.

The first pic makes him look old with sagging skin around the brisket and on his stomach, the second pic makes him look mature but middle aged,

Depends on where I'm hunting. He walks across em at my place in the hill country he's going down. If I'm hunting 10k acres in south Texas where I don't have to worry about neighbors shooting he walks another year or two.

Not necessarily high fenced. Just a place with amazing genetics, protein fed, large acreage. The kind of place you can rest easy letting middle aged deer walk.
