Did he end up having to skin the smoke pole?

Nope. He was able to take him with his bow. He actually shot him weekend before Christmas and hit him high. Turned up about 10 days later on camera healthy.

I see my 193 guess didnt miss him very far with his brow intact. Unbelievable deer! Who ended up killing it?

Awesome buck, congrats to your brother. I am assuming with the broken brow losing 4 inches, that the other brow was deducted also? So in actuality he lost about 8 inches of score? Would he have been a 198" deer? or is the score still including the good brow?

No the good brow is still counted. Grossed 190 2/8"

Thanks Ray. I can't imagine doing it without him. He is still eaten up with deer hunting. Not so much shooting them, but growing them and trying to improve the ranch to grow these big old guys. The ranch has provided a whole lot of memories for us over the last 12 years or so.
