We scored the wide 8pt and he scored just over 140in. He is 21.5in wide and has 25in main beams.

My nephew was able to shoot his first deer today as well. He ended up having 20 points and was a 7yr old this year. He dressed out at 140lbs. He was a toad!

Going to try to shoot 2 or 3 more doe and another cull buck over the next 2 days.

Thanks for all of y’all’s kind words! We showed our boys our first bucks and they were amazed at difference in sizes. They both really enjoy the outdoors and working on projects out here so they understand all the effort that goes into it.

Now it’s time to shoot some doe and get our numbers down. We will hunt some other cull bucks later this year. Good luck to everyone!
