    Would you shoot this deer?

I got a small piece of property to hunt this year and this deer showed up. He is a main frame six with split brow tine on one side and kicker on the other brow tine. This place is surrounded by other smaller properties. I am unsure of the hunting pressure from the other properties. So given the circumstances would you shoot or try and give him a year or two? I think he is 3.5 years old, feel free to give me some age guesses. Click image for larger version

I would let him go this year. He's interesting. Appears to be young.

No, he looks like a baby. Could turn out cool, but you won't know for a year or two.

Not this early in the season. Late season if he's still around and I haven't tagged anything yet them maybe so but it would still be pretty hard to pull the trigger...

Could turn into a giant 6 in a few years

Yup young, let him go. He's already showing cool characteristics so no telling what he's gonna be in a few years.

It's Tom Green county so no antler restrictions.

Looks 2.5 to me, I'd let him walk. If it comes to the end of the season and you haven't got anything yet and need the meat then sure.

He doesn't get me too excited, I'd pass. I'd let him grow, looks 2.5 to me. Your call though
