I was able to get permission to hunt a property that I hunted several years ago. Today is the first day I have had a chance to scout the property this season. I remembered a spot which I had always suspected was a buck bedding area. It is on a ridge with a yaupon thicket on the back side, two steep sides, an a gradual decline leading down the ridge at the point. I decided to hike up and check it out and I also carried my covert. Sure enough there was a huge single bed right off the point of the ridge with rubs all around. I set up the camera and slipped out as quick as I could. I will update thread as I recieve pics. Hopefully I did not disturb the area so much that he does not return. Will be cool to see what time he is coming and leaving if this works out.
This will give you a better idea of the setup. The plus sign is where the camera is located.
