    East Tx Age?

I have my own thoughts. No history with this deer unless he's one of the million 15" 8pts that grew up a little.

    East Tx Age?

I would say 4.5 with no history and those two pictures.

      I'm thinking 3.5.

Long legged, narrow neck, straight back, no pot belly.

Head Scratcher - Hard to tell with just 2 night pics

Looks mature to post mature because:
His brisket appears to be sagging below his belly which is also sagging a bit.
Hip and shoulder bones are poking at the edge of his hide

            Looks younger because:
Legs look long in relation to his torso
Chest is not as full compared to hindquarters

My guess is 4.5 but maybe older.

Could be over the hill. Maybe you'll get some color daytime pics and it might help you decide.

Another one of those 3.5 or 8.5 deer. I suck at this game! Now that six point is old.

I think the deer in question is 2.5 personally. Just thinline, narrow, thin nose. Doesn,t show bone structure of a mature deer. Now, the 6 point in the fist pic is older...

                      ^this.

On the low end guess, I might even say 2.5. His skeletal frame makes a "square" instead of a rectangle (connecting the dots from front hoof to shoulder, to hip, down to rear hoof and back). Would expect a post mature deer to have a rectangular frame, even if he is a bony lightweight. Those are some fairly long legs he's sporting, it seems...

Tricky, but enjoy the game. Thanks for posting.

I don't see a mature buck here. The only thing that makes him look older is his brisket. Almost all deer are going to have a belly after all the rain we've had from spring to now.

He looks like a 3.5 year old to me. Nice antlers, but thin and he looks immature to me. Next year's trophy.

I say 5.5. If he was 3.5 he would be there in the daytime! Kinda pencil horned though.
