    Bent/Broke G2

I've been watching this nice 8 pointer I named 8T (8 tall). well I checked my camera last weekend and I saw he bent/broke his G2. I know they are still soft when in velvet but I didn't know they are this soft. Is there any other explanation for it to be bent besides he hit it or got hung up in something?

I think it's just so dang hot it melted and bent over.

Might be genetics, but more likely just bumped against something during his day-to-day activity.

Just not feeling perky this morning I guess. Slip him a blue pill...

Nah seriously though never seen something like that with before and after shots. I am in for some explanations.

Looks to me like he bent it on something. Granddad killed one who made a big U out of his right main beam by getting it caught in a limb in velvet. Just made a really good buck into an even cooler one! He would make a sweet euro

As long as there is good blood flow that tip won't fall off. would make for a cool mount.

Thats crazy. I have one just like it. Curious as to if it will harden up and be there come season.

He'll likely break it off while rubbing his velvet off. It has been bumped and damaged internally.
