Cranking up the new year at the farm. Deer hunting is over now and time to start looking to the new year. We put our first load of feed out yesterday mixed 50/50 with corn. Even with the plots looking really good the weather has turned very cold and I want the deer to have everything they can for recovery and jump start the new year. The better their shape at antler drop the better next years production.

I'm back to the ranch tomorrow but but will get in to more detail on the status of everything when I return.

So did rolling stone end up getting a pass this year?

What deer will y'all be chasing next season?

Man, that droptinie buck had as much bone going back as he did going forward! Pretty awesome, I have never seen anything quite like that before.

This always stings a bit. A 4 yr old 170" + star on the rise.
