^ wow. This is for posting.
I just peaked back at this thread since I asked for pics. Ill have to take a break from chores and look at these awesome bucks.
I love old deer. I love old deer with history even better.
Thanks for posting up some pics.
If we can get one early October they usually weigh ~ 200-240 total weight...sometimes a bit more. With the rut happening late Oct. naturally it starts down from there.180+ more common then.
Nice These photos of the Bucks, are one of the main reasons why I listen to your planting recommendation's plus I also enjoy the read. Thanks for posting
Just caught this thread and I have to say it is one of the most informative I've read on this site and Kudos to you for enduring the hard work to reap the fruits of your labor. Good luck on that 12 as he is a very impressive deer and would be one to be proud of. Louisiana never gets much publicity as being able to kick out monsters but you have proven that it doesn't matter where you are, with hard work, nutrition and age and last but not least I'm sure lots of green backs, you can produce deer that rival anywhere in the US. Thanks and will continue following waiting for the ldp's of the 12
Yeah they look Big Rusty. I would have bet More by how good of shape they are in. Can't wait to see one of those deer on the ground this yr. Best of Luck Buddy
I've got Rolling Stone at 194...
87.5 on his right
86.5 on his left
20 inches spread.
But I'm a little bit of a high scorer! Especially when they get that big.
