    Your right RTP. Older bucks tend to be more flat footed than the younger bucks too. I would assume from their hooves being worn. Good pics

      No weight guesses on the first buck I posted? FYI, my mature bucks will weigh between 180-210 lbs pre rut.

          What do I call mature? processed and in my freezer, that's what.

          When you hunt with traditional equipment, every deer is a trophy.

              Mature - 5yrs old - on my lease I would shoot mature deer

              On a high fence property where I had control I would only cull at maturity and let the better mature bucks get OLD before shooting them

                      I hear ya. But I think the point is that there are a multitude of things to look at when trying to age a buck and not just the one or two things so many seem to focus on.
