Can you show me your cotton seed feeder?

Howdy hunters, I wanted to try feeding cotton seed this off season for the first time. The only person I know who feeds it uses the following type of wire basically in a ring shape around a metal t-post. I can't find this type of wire anywhere (at least not near Tomball)

If anyone has any pictures of their cotton seed feeders so I can get other ideas (especially the type of wire you use) I would really appreciate it. Also if anyone knows of anywhere near Tomball/Houston to buy cotton seed(where they load it in your truck vs. bagged) I would appreciate that info as well. Thanks

We just built 6 cottonseed feeders this past weekend. Picked up a ton of it in Sinton, Tx for $320. Loaded it in the back of the truck and put a tarp over it. It's said to be a good source of protein and just deer eat it after a while. I'm from spring/tomball area and couldn't find it anywhere around here.

@FCTrapper. . . .where can you buy that V-Mesh at? That must be a west Texas thing, cause I can't find it anywhere near Houston (all I find is the rectangle, like JMAG used). I just hit McCoy's website but didn't see it. . . I will stop by there and check. I have looked at TSC, Lowe's and Home Depot's around here with no luck. Thanks everyone.

Any major fence building supply store should have it. I found it D&D farm and ranch in Sequin. Also there is a large fencing company just north of Georgetown on IH-35 that carries it. Almost positive McCoys carries it too.

V Mesh is the way to go. I bought a roll of it at Home Depot in Seguin.
Don't remember what it cost but it is fairly expensive.

How many feet do you guys use to make your cage? Looking at the pictures I am guessing 8 foot, but wanted to check. Thanks

Sounds about right, I think the ones we built were 22-24" across. Wired it to one tee post

These hold about 350 - 400 lbs. May be a little to big in diameter but the deer still manage to get most of it out if you let it run out.
