1,000lbs Capsule Feeder for Protein

Does anyone use the Capsule Feeder as a protein feeder? Does it work? Does it keep raccoons out? Would I be better off with a feeder with skids?

Never owned one of these but they look cool and I've heard animal proof too, but they were always way to much money for me. I prefer free choice, coons will be coons!

We have three capsule corn feeders they work great. No raccoons have gotten into them so far. If you have elk make sure to keep them away they will tear them up

Thanks. I am toying with the idea of buying 2 to uses as corn feeders and one to use as a protein feeder. It would be nice to not have to build a feeder pen!
