Native trees/browse

Looking for a local place near Frisco or Canton to purchase some native east Tx soft mass trees or browse. Not looking to spend $30 a pop but couple bucks for seedlings so my 4yr old daughter & I can raise then plant at our lease.

Any local places or maybe seeds and what species does everyone suggest?

I would do a google search for bare root stock. Also called liners. They will be delivered bare root no dirt. You plant in small pots to start them or plant directly in the dirt. This will get you the most for your money.

You can check with your county agriculture agent, he can direct you to the right stuff to grow in your area.
