Well I think we have both good news and bad news on this one....

The bad news is I think Justin has been missing the age of his young deer by a year...

the good news is apparently those spikes are growing up into nice 130 - 140 inch deer.....

The spike theory is the single largest setback in whitetail deer management. IMHO
