Did you throw in any cereal grains like oats, wheat, or rye? If not...its not to late to broadcast some Rye (not rye grass) into it. It will germinate and grow at 34 degrees. Very winter hardy.

I didn't have much activity the first year I planted my spot either. But it increased every year after and 4 years later they are so used to coming in to this field to eat....that I could plant just about anything and they would eat it.

planted Secada, Austrian and Whistler Winter Peas in a seperate plot and the durana white clover in a seperate plot.

the peas came in a blend and are coming up, but nothing lke the Radish.

would a mix of Oats, Triticale, Wheat and Winterpeas work if broadcasted?

Winterpeas would be tough because its are a bigger seed.

Triticale and wheat would work better than oats. But you need enough rain to pound them into the ground a little.

My foodplot finally dried out. This tells you how long its held water. Spread rye grain for the third time today.
