Rice Bran - anyone still using?

Anyone still use rice bran? as an addition or alternative to corn attractant?
Do most feed stores sell it? would be looking north of Dallas
I would do a search but anytime I try nowadays I only get info from 2008.

I use Rice Bran Pellets in a protein feeder and the deer love it. You can get it at Atwoods and maybe Tractor Supply.

I have fed rice bran off and on for 3-5 years now. So far been doing sweet feed this year and they love it as well it appears. Planning on running some expirements later in the season with multiple things like rice bran, sweet feed, attractant, alfalfa ect... all next to each other to see what gets hit hardest

I had been buying Rice bran at Atwood's but haven't looked this year for it

I use it every season. They're hitting it right now but also focused on acorns too. When acorns disappear they'll be hitting rice bran hard.

What are you paying for a bag of rice bran pellets? Quick google search shows it's super expensive. I was thinking I could run them through my timed protein feeder, but I'm seen $30+ a bag.

I've been paying around $15 at Atwoods.

I sprinkle all over ground corn. Even tested piles with vs without. New pile with persimmon will pull deer to it within hours.... without it'll take a day or so. They seem to love it. Plus a 50# bag of rice bran lasts a lot longer sprinkling vs piling.

My oklahoma deer love it. I pour about 1/4 bag in piles at hand corn spots. Don't spread it make a pile so it lasts longer.
