We make our strategy very black and white. To qualify as a cull he must be 8 pts or less and 125" or less and 5+ YO. This buck is a 9 pt and 3 YO so he would get a pass on our place. It has worked for us, but your strategy has to be set based on your herd composition, range conditions, densities, goals, ect.
