Addax?

this might be one of the "special" animals that could be out lawed at any time (just saying)

I did not know what an addax looked like so I googled it, first thing I clicked on said they are critically endangered. It made no mention of Texas though as I suspect there are several of them in the state from the replies above. Would not be the first critter that was saved by us "hunters" from extinction

There are far more in Tx than in their native lands. I think the native population is in the hundreds, there are a couple thousand in Tx.
