Do y'all spray the grass with herbicide befor you **** up your food plots?

I never have. Just disc it real good and you should be good to go.

EVERY TIME! allow it 14 days to kill roots completely. It will disk so much easier its well worth it

I don't use herbicide at all, but I'm plowing the same food plots every year.

Yes, usually roundup quickpro with diquat. Killsnit stone dead in a few day, rain safe after 1hr. Disk then harrow and drill. We use 1.5-2.0 per gallon and about 20 gal per acre. 5-7 days we disk.

If you are no tilling and already have a crop like peas you can uses 22-24oz of eraser per acre (20gal of water per acre) and it will kill the grasses and leave the peas in good shape.

I use round-up 2 weeks before I plow it because it plows so much better.
