    After the kill, what is done with your yote hide? Is it buzzard bait, sell it or do you tan it.

        Buzzard bait in Texas . Up in N and S dakota you can get $50 or so for them. they are much heavier and a better pelt.

            Hardest animal to skin in my book back in 70s when running trap lines here I get $25.00 per coyote hide back then worth going through the trouble plus I was 30 something years younger,..... Andy

                If it is a prime pelt I will tan it and lay it around in the house etc,. I've given some away so guys could make arrow quivers, etc. with them. But alot of times we just leave them for nature to have.
