Ive had a Nikon rangefinder for almost 20 years. I would recommend it for the simple fact it still works as new and ive never had any problems out of it. Nothing fancy, but does what you need.
Also, I would recommend getting one with black numbering vs colored (such as red). My step dad has a Leupold with red lettering and it can be hard to read.

I freakin LOVE my Sig Kilo 2200 range finder. Illuminated reticle (red) is where it’s at. It has auto adjust brightness too so mid day it’s bright as heck so you can see fine and low light it dims itself so you aren’t blinded by it. They even make one that talks to their Sig scopes via Bluetooth to show you drop in your scope reticle for long shots. Pretty slick.
