Let’s talk arrows

So, been shooting Carbon Express Maxima Hunters. Im about to switch things up go with a heavier set up. I really like CE products and have been happy with them over the last 9 years.
Im not opposed to switching brands if I find something that I like.
Im 100% opposed to Gold Tip. I shot them one year and they were terrible. I will never, not once consider them again.
Outside of crap tip, what other brands are good? Im not looking for cheap. I want the best product on the market. I have been looking at Victory and some other CE lines.

What does everyone have to say?

Gold tip. Haha, sorry had to. No real opinion for you though as all i shoot is gold tip.

I soot Black Eagle arrows. I'm real happy with them.

I shoot Gold Tip and have been happy with them. That said, like you, I'm looking at new arrows. Gold Tip stopped making the arrows I was shooting.

My first choice to try was Easton FMJ, but the bow shop I visited did not have them in the spine range I shoot. But, I did get a couple of Easton 5mm Axis Carbon.

Need to go shoot them, but haven't found time. I'll come back later and let you know what I think.

I shot Easton only for many years. Been shooting goldtips the past 3 years and have been happy. But, you mixed that idea. I love Easton axis arrows and even more if you throw an iron will collar up front. I still like deep six arrows and think the all carbon injexions are fantastic. I have been looking at the victory Vap tko. They look nice and get lots of good reviews.

I shoot FMJs. My only complaint is they seem to bend or break a lot.

I’ve been shooting Gold tips for years, but I’m going to try Vap elites by Victory. I’ve heard good things. I will see.

Black Eagle makes some sweet shafts. I’ve been shooting them for 6 years, Carnivores to be specific. I also have some Deep Impacts and that are bad medicine.

After thinking about it a bit, I have to wonder what was wrong with your GTs?

I bought a dz. None seemed to shoot the same and 8 of the dz broke on me within a few months. All target shooting only.
Last tome I checked, Block targets werent supposed to break arrows.
Maybe I got a bad batch but it was enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I understand, was just curious cause i have had good luck with them. But I know how it is when you get a bad whatever, always makes you wary. Good luck in your search

Did you call gold tip, they will take care of it ! I have shot them for years and years. Had one single arrow, I thought it looked as though it had a flaw. They sent one out right away and told me throw the one out. Told me if I ever need anything, just call.
I had the same issue you said with black eagle carnivores, I went through a doz in less then a month. Only shooting 3-d targets. Those things broke sooooo easy it was crazy. If you wiggled them while pulling out, they would brake. If it was a shot at an angle they would brake. And no response from them, at all.
