SEVR Broadheads - Any in the field experience??

Does anyone have any in the field experience on real animals with these broadheads? I ordered a few 2.1s out of curiosity and can hardly find anything about people actually using them in the field. I can watch all the videos I want on people shooting plywood or milk jugs, but at the end of the day all that matters is their effectiveness against the animals we hunt. Just wondering if anyone has experience with them in actual hunting situations.

I haven't shot the SEVR but I used to shoot the Ulmer Edge that was very similar to the SEVR and I had no complaints about them.

Bowmar bowhunting has videos of them hunting with them. Seem to do well, I have 1. Will probably use it on a pig eventually

Pretty sure josh is pulling over 80 pounds with over a 30” draw length so I’m sure that helps with two blade expandables. I’ll check it out though

I’m sure. But after all the rages and extremes I’ve shot I don’t worry about penetration anymore.

The hush people have a video from last year of them shooting a axis buck with one, big entrance and smaller exit. That’s my only concern with these heads of any other heads with pivoting blades, not staying fully opened once inside

I agree that is one of my concerns as well, but I still felt like they were worth checking out. I forgot the hush guys used the sevr last season I’ve seen that video I’ll have to rewatch it.

Never know until you try for yourself. I’ve heard really good things about these vs other pivoting heads. The new 1.5” should be a a really good penetrator for those on the fence about mechanicals

Ive had great success with its successor, the Ulmer Edge. Wouldnt be afraid of it at all.
