    Covert problems

    My wife bought me a new Covert Red 40 for Christmas. The first one got water all inside it. I mailed it back and they sent me a new one (great customer service and fast shipping!).

    Went to check my camera this past weekend and couldn't see the settings screen. Put new batteries in it...nothing. Turned it on and the red light was flashing (like it's supposed to when it comes on). But it won't take pictures. Tried another SD card. Nothing.

    Sending this one back to see what happens.

    I got this camera to avoid the problems of the cheaper cameras....but this is getting old.

    Hate having one of my two cameras down in the middle of season.

    Oh well. First world problems.

    I had a couple of problems with my coverts, but like you said, they are awesome with customer service. They had to replace my oldest one twice and each time they did they upgraded me to the newest model at no cost to me. The two I have now seem to be working great. One has been out for two years and the other is a new wireless model.

      I don't have any phone service at my place or I'd try to get a cellular camera. Maybe one day they'll put up a tower.

      I mailed off my camera today...hopefully they will fix it or replace it.
