Believe it or not Cabelas makes a heck of a trail cam. Took my moultrie back as it had water damage and took back browning range ops because night pics were way too grainy. Night and day pics are crazy good on my cabelas cam. its a Cabelas Outfitter 12mp IR.

Reconyx Hyperfire. mine has been in the field for over 4 months, has taken more than 3500 pics and 300 20 second videos and still shows 100% battery life. I have never had a camera with as good battery life as the Reconyx Hyperfire. Day and night pics and videos are great.

I have the Moultrie but am really wanting to try to Strikeforce after hearing nothing but good reviews about it.
I don't have a moultrie but my newest Strikeforce isn't that spectacular. It absolutely misses deer and I don't know why. There will be new tracks right in front of the cam and no pics and the next thing you know it has caught a coyote trotting by. I don't get it.
My strikeforce from last year has been great.

I have Browning Strike Force HD (2015), Browning Strike Force (2014), Browning Range Ops, Bushnell Trophy Cam's (2011 version), and some cheap Wild Game Innovations cameras.
I think the Browning Strike Force HD are the best of the bunch all things considered for $130 bucks. At 10 MP, they take better pictures than the Bushnells. My Bushnells have white balance issues sometimes. The 2014 Browning Strike Force are just as good as far as I can tell.
If you get the Strike Force HD, check to see if the firmware has been upgraded and, if not, do it before you put them out. Same with the Bushnells. You can find the 2014 Strike Force on sale in some places right now for $99.99 and they are certainly worth that price.
I haven't tried the video feature of the Brownings, but it works pretty well on the Bushnell's when put on trails.
