Seeing double when looking at pins?

I recently switched from the very inexpensive sight that came with my bow to a .010 pin Spot Hogg Fast Eddie. I know the Spot Hog is a far superior made site but I am not shooting as well with it as my old site and I am seeing double when i look at the pins. Has anyone else experienced this going from .019 to .010 pins? I hate to think I spent over $200 to shoot worse!

I usually see double after the cap on a bottle of whiskey gets thrown away.....
I shot a .010 for a little while and went back to .019, the .010 was just too fine for me.

I see my pins double also. I have an astigmatisum (sp) and always see slightly double. One is in more focus, that's the one I use. I have switched to a single pin sight and find it has helped a lot.

Had same issue with spot hogg sight. It was the wire for me, just made the pins blurry. Probably not the sights fault my eyes are bad.

This is what I am experiencing. I have always had great eyesight but at 41 things may be changing. I can definitely tell one is the "right one" but it is not ideal.

I do not. I have always had 20/15 (better than 20/20) vision but I haven't had it checked in a couple of years.

You most likely have an astigmatism and never noticed with a cheaper sight because it wasn't bright enough. You may benefit from contacts, or as others have said, a verifier or clarifier (don't quite remember which helps with a blurry pin)
