Kisser Button: With or Without Peep

Been debating on putting a Kisser button on my bow, but debating if I want to put a peep sight in. I think with having that extra point of reference, I could go without a peep sight. In the long run the kisser would take the place of the peep sight. I have only ever used a peep sight with no kisser, but I find myself always messing with the peep bc of it rolling. Anyone ever made the switch from peep sight to Kisser? Lets hear the pros/cons of each?

I use both, but I need all the help I can get. It would be nice to hear the cons from a pro.

If you peep is rolling you may need to have a twist put into the string. Certainly stabilized mine.

Years ago I used a peep and kisser. Definitely helps you hit the same reference each shot but it's also one more thing that can move. At some point I took the kisser off and have been shooting the peep for years now. I'm thinking that loosing the peep would seriously hinder your ability to repeat shot after shot. If you're not looking through the string but beside it, your windage will be different at different yardages. Your pins would have to be offset to make up the difference.

Oh, I use the rubber tube to keep my peep straight, love it.

When I first started bow hunting many years ago I had no peep or kisser. Then went to a peep and then added a kisser. Now I don't use a peep or a kisser. My main reason for getting rid of the kisser was I've had the same anchor points for so long it was no longer needed and the reason I got rid of the peep is because I do a lot of night hunting hogs and a peep will cut down on your vision. I don't really notice any difference in my groups unless I shoot past 40 yards but I can't remember the last time I shot at a animal over 40 yards. I would recommend trying it and if it doesn't work for you it will be simple to put back.

I tried a peep about 15 years ago and hated it because as stated above it cuts down on your vision in low light conditions. Kisser and the tip of your nose on the string is all you need.
