I switched from FMJ's to Axis arrows to increase my FOC. its easier to increase FOC with a lighter arrow than a heavier arrow. My axis weigh in 20 gr lighter with a 50 gr brass insert and 125 gr bh than my FMJ were with aluminum insert. My FOC went from 12% on my FMJ to 16% with my axis arrows. And I picked some speed back up.
FOC is all bow you load your arrow, not just ivera weight. I know some folks that run 525- 550 gr arrows and 22% FOC.
