    Bear Instinct Draw Length Adjustment

I have an 07 Instinct I need to increase the draw length on. Any experience on these? Looks like I'll take it to my tech, looks like it needs a bow press. Looks like the axle pin goes thru the module. Excuse me if I sound like an idiot, never had to adjust one before.

You should not need a press to change the draw length on that bow. To me it looks like it uses draw modules(the black piece on the green cam). There should be two Allen head screws that hold the module in place, remove those and the module comes out. Put the correct module in, and replace the screws.

Also you can probably find a lot of information on that bow and how to adjust things on Bear web site, in the user manuals section.

I saw the two screws. But there appears to be a pin going through the modules and cams.

no pin going through it, appears that way but no pin. No press needed to swap. As stated above just remove the screws and your good to go.

Thanks for the info. I looked on Bear's website, couldn't find info on the module I'd need for a 30" dl. Did say you could adjust a half inch either way.

According to the research I did, a Rockstop #2 module is what is needed for a 30" draw length. As far as where to find one, I am no help there other than suggesting calling Bear Archery directly and see if they have any. Good luck and hope this helped.

Yes, I've been trying with no luck to find one. I think they are right and left hand specific. Mine is a LH.

If I can't find one soon, I'll have to see if I can find a print or sketch and make one.
