I have been bow hunting for a few years now and have had a lot of help along the way, but this one has me stumped pretty bad. I had new strings and cables put on my bow Friday. Did my best to break them in with a bunch of arrows since. Late Yesterday I was dialed in to 60 yards with practice points and having no issues. I put my ever faithful thunderheads on and things went South. Looked ok at 20 yards, but beyond that they were everywhere. Tried a set of mechanicals I had, (spitfire type), no dice there either. Bow is Bear Advantage Hunter (basically the showdown model) and scales 73# @ 27" draw.
Arrows are GoldTip Velocities. I used the same combination before, being thunderhead 100 grain on these shafts for my last trip and everything shot well. Any suggestions? As a side note, my 20 yard pin basically stayed the same but the rest had to be moved up a good bit. New string and cables shot almost 6 inches high at 40 yards compared to the original set-up. Thanks in advance.
