Do any of you crest your own arrows? I'm new to all this bow stuff and have a few questions.

I used to do it, but haven't in forever.
Today, it's a lost art; guys just buy the wraps. I just buy black shafts with a design already screen printed on them or camo shafts.

i do, made and shot cedars out of trad bows till shoulders won't take it anymore. still crest carbons and shoot feathers with training wheels. its just something i like to do.

I've got both aluminum and carbon arrows do they need to be prepped differently and does the paint hold up well?

Man I did for years. When the wraps came out I jumped all over em. Saved me lotsa cricks in my neck.
