    Dloop question

    I was looking at lancaster archery just trying to get some more dloop material an man I didn't know there was so many options I was going to get bcy but there are like #24 or #23 so which one do I need lol

    24 is slightly larger and stiffer, also available in a lot more colors. I use 24 personally.

          I use the #23 Spectra from BCY. It is more flexible and won't tend to fray as quickly.

              Since we are on this subject...

              I was wondering if the d-loop string is heat shrinkable. I was watching a video on making these wrist loops out of paracord. One guy suggested putting the paracord in boiling water for about 15 - 20 secs to shrink it before weaving. He did this to prevent stretching after the product was complete.

              I can see where this may also be of benefit for making a d-loop. If it is pre-shrunk it seems it would become tightened a bit quicker/shorter and would not stretch as much with use. and hold up a bit longer.

                This. That hard crap tries to roll around the dang string to much on the shot. I hate that stiff crap.
