Painting Modules

anybody ever painted mods or cams ?

my current bow is a black riser with camo limbs.

cams from the factory are black, but, mods are RED.

can i just remove the mods and use generic black spray paint ?

any harm or other concerns ?

I painted the Cam and a half on my Hoyt. NO PROBLEMS !!
