    Arrow wraps, educate me

    So,
I've been refletching some arrows lately and stripping everything down is rather tedious. So, was thinking of going with wraps...educate me on the pros and cons. Anything I need to be wary of? Being that there are several different diameter arrows out there, are there several wrap sizes to match the circumference of arrows?

    Thanks

Pro - can increase visibility of the arrow.

    Con - decreases FOC.

well, i shoot 100g heads, so if I went to wraps I was thinking of moving to 125g heads, which should offset the FOC change

Leave the last half inch of the bare shaft visible in front of the nock when you apply wraps to carbon shafts.

Carbon shafts are notorious for developing cracks right in front of the nock at the nock end. If the wrap is covering the area you won't see the crack telling you the arrow is done.

Not all carbon shafts have this issue.
In my experience, CE shafts have this issue more than others.

                Personally, I hate wraps.

x2 Doesn't let you get as good of bonding surface as carbon.
