    Sight light suggestions?

Going on a hog trip Friday that I just found out about today. I do not have any kind of light on my sight at all, anyone have any recommendations?

Also thinking I should get a pack of lumenocks.

I like the sight made by cobra the best. It is a rheostat light that can go from very dim to very bright. You will have to learn what threads your sight has because most light have different threads. I think TruGlo & G5 has one that comes with universal adapters to fit most lights

I have a tru-Glo that I got from Academy. It works great but the batteries that come with it don't last very long

That's probably the one I'll end up with, hard to beat the price, and as long as it'll last through this weekend I'm fine with that.

I have one from Spott-Hog that seems to be working well. For $20 it was worth it. I believe it's a 28tpi thread cut.

I haven't hunted with it yet but my neighbor and I target practice at night pretty regular and the batteries lasted about 2 nights shooting about 100 arrows a night with me turning it off in between 6 arrow sets. As long as you don't leave it on they will last plenty long enough to hunt

Well I got 3 lumenocks and the truglo light. Got home and put the light on my sight and it doesn't work. Guess the thing got packaged turned on and the batteries as dead. Guess I'm going back to academy tomorrow.

I would say, Make sure it's adjustable. And try it out before you use it in the dark. I tried mine on the highest setting and it makes the pins look like mini suns. So I have been set just over the lowest setting or lowest setting. Much easier to acquire the target.

Thanks doppelganger, I looked on their website and it looks like they have some awesome flashlights but all I need is a light on my sight to illuminate my pins.
