    Help with React sight

I bought a new Mathews Chill R and I went with the Trophy Ridge react sight. You sight it in at 20 and 30 yards and it is supposed to be on at 40, 50, and 60 yards. Only problem is after I got it on at 20 yards it shoots high at 30 and 40 yards and I have it as high up and tight as I can get it. (haven't shot it any further at this point) I did a search on here to see if anyone was having the same problem but only found the opposite were they were bottoming the pins out. I haven't got a speed on my arrow but I'm shooting a Chill R @ 27in draw, 70lbs, 295grn arrow with 100grn tip (395grn total weight) with a 28.5 in arrow.

Something is fishy in your setup. I'm shooting the almost identical setup and have no issues.

.... not what I wanted to hear.

Are your pins spread out at all or really tight?

What's the distance from your nock point to peep? Which set of mounting holes did you use on sight?

It is about 5 5/8 in and the bracket is on the 2nd to last set of holes.

Your peep may be too high or your rest may be too high.

Peep height seems reasonable. What is you nock point set at? I'm shooting a Chill R at 307 fps and a React and not cranked all the way down. Have you tuned the bow yet?

I bought the exact same setup a couple months ago with Mathews QAD rest and mine shoots great and the sight is spot on at the various distances. Very pleased so far. May take it to a bow shop and tell them the problem and see if it's something with a quick fix or at least get the sight zeroed out & leveled up.

I havent tuned it yet... but I would think that would make the 20 yard and 30 yard pin almost the same.

I had the same problem. You can basically reverse the bracket. I had to do this and it was very easy. It will look exactly the same except the trophy ridge logo will be upside down.

I'd try zeroing the 40 or 50. That sight accommodates faster speeds than what you are shooting.

Basically you just want to flip the sight bracket over so the dog leg is down and you will have all the room you need. When you get it working, you will love it

I will try this but from what I have read turning the bracket upside down helps with the lower speed bows so the farther yardage pins have more room to move down... I might have read the other threads wrong. I am going to give this a try tomorrow. Thanks

I shot it out to 40 yards and it is still hitting high with the pins all the way up. I'm going to mess with it a little bit tomorrow and if I can a chance I will run up to the shop and see about it.
