I bought some but have not used them because I could not get them sharp enough to feel confident shooting critters. I like the design - they seem indestructible. I would not hesitate to shoot one from a compound with high KE but I'm shooting lower weight trad bows

The reason for inquiry is I recently purchased a 3 pack of these out of curiosity. I shoot a recurve 59# at 31 inches got 170gr heads. Shot first arrow in heart of 3d wt target second shot robin hooded first arrow (first time with recurve) pulled arrows and changed heads to new arrows shot 6 consecutive 3arrow groups at 1 1/2 grouping tearing fletching on several arrows. I havent been shooting that tight with field points just wondering if anyone elese has had similar results or used them in the field hunting

I've been interested in these as well but I've been hesitant to pull the trigger just because they are considered a "barbed" head. I only like to try out heads that are legal in all states that way if I decide to go another state with certain BH restrictions, I don't have to go in search of a new BH for my setup prior to the trip

I"ll tell you the barbed head is not friendly to a 3d target
