    Vapor trail pro-v rest

    So i have a mathews helim and i have the vapor trail pro-v rest. The felt last MAYBE 50 arrows. any1 else have this problem? If so what would be something good to replace it with and where do you get it?

    Dr. Scholl's Moleskin Plus, you can replace it once a month for the next 2 years for $4.

          Mine lasted about that long. I contacted Matt (I think) at vapor trail and he sent me a new strip. I cleaned the rest well with alcohol and the new one has lasted hundreds and hundreds of shots.

                        Ive tried turning my vanes everyway. I current have the 1 facing up and 2 facing down if that makes sense. Im not expert so feel free to tell me if im doing something wrong.

                          Shouldn't matter. Assume those with felt wearing out is where the shaft makes contact as you draw.

                            What kind of target you shooting into. The residue from the target that adhears to your arrow shaft can errode the felt very quickly depending on the target material.

                            Try either waxing your shafts or using silicon on them, then use a small towel to wipe them after you pull them from the target to help clean them.

                            Maybe this will help.
