    Tuning Question

I am a complete newbie. So, I have my 100 grain G5 Strikers and field points hitting the same place. I intend to hunt with the Strikers. I have some 100 grain Razor Tricks also, and decided to screw some on and see where they are. They are hitting about 2" lower than the Strikers and field points.

I am shooting a Mission Ballistic, 55 lbs, 27.5" draw length, Easton Axis 400's cut to 28". The bow has been paper tuned and the cam timing was checked recently.

I am just going to hunt with the Strikers, but if I was going to try to tune the Razor Tricks what would I do?

If it were me and they were hitting a couple inches low, I'd move my rest UP just a tad. But that may make your other broadheads fly high...I just tune for whatever head I'm going to hunt with.

BTW I hunt with Rage Hypo's but my bow is tuned for Razor Tricks as well. I shoot them sometimes. Great heads!!

Me, i would just shoot them "next pin down" with a 2" drop like you said. (use the 25yrd pin as a 20 pin 30yrd as a 25 yrd etc..)

So, I had only shot one of the razortricks. Noticed a rattle when I picked it up to check this evening. Couldn't tell if it was the broad head or insert. Tried to tighten broadhead with no luck.

Shot the other razortricks. Split the bull with both. Bought some Magnus Stingers last week. Dead bull with them also. Tested the Rage Hypo's that I bought but were not planning to hunt with. Bullseye.

Now I have field points, G5 Strykers, Magnus Stingers, Razortricks, and Rage Hypodermics all hitting in the same place. Think I have enough broadheads?

Can't wait for Friday. I'm gonna let the wind out of something this weekend.
